Blok®, also known as digiBlok® is the handmade controller that Digital Luthier® makes for the most demanding musicians and artists. Available in 3 models with different sizes, Uno® Due® y Qad® are the perfect allies, both on stage and in the recording studio.
Choose your control
All of the sizes can be customised with any of the components that we have at our disposal in our digiSampler® catalogue. The programming and behavior of each of the remotes from every equipment that we make are configured at the user's request. The project and initial patent of this device date back to 2005. Since then and until today we have not stopped investigating and developing our systems, in order to give them the latest advances and updates.
Uno, Due y Quad
The control boxes Uno, Due y Qad provide the foundations that good components deserve. They are presented with a finishing touch of high resistance lacquered paint that combines a mixture of metal and aluminum of 2mm width, giving it weight and strength to the ensemble, the former being a very important characteristic. The union between modules is made through high powerful magnets. Each of the boxes has all the electric and computer engineering from our development team. It runs via USB connection all the main communication protocols (MIDI, OSC y ASCII) to control hardware of software such as Ableton®Live, ProTools®, Logic®, Nuendo®, etc. The final dimensions of each of the boxes have been painstakingly studied, as well as their shape, providing them with the most comfortable positions to work it.
Total connectivity
The equipment allow the connetivity of main communication protocols via USB, MIDI, OSC and ASCII for the control of hardware and software like Ableton®Live, Pro®Tools, Logic®, Nuendo®Cubase, etc, ... Each of the devices has an in and out ethernet DLio® connector that sends our communication protocol to the system, in order to pair the modules up and share information with them. It also has other functions like choosing amongst the available 16 programmable channels via an encoder type selector that is placed on the upper side.
Designed for everything
The BlakBox shape is specially designed for working both in the studio and on the stage, offering sturdiness and a comfortable degree of slope for working in front of the computer. The quality of the faders and knobs with the sturdiness offer a special feel when the controller is used both, in the studio and on the stage. The controller Blok recover the sense of the highest quality old equipments but with nowadays advance of our technology for controlling software with the lowest latency. The possibility of put the devicestogheter allow a lot of combinations with the rest of equipment.

Prices:
The final price for Blok Controller depend on the selection of the final components to be installed in the Box which is the main box where all the controls are mounted. Boxes are in 3 different sizes, one, Qad Due and all included with the printed circuit board, computer system, USB connections, MIDI, and DLio protocol, in addition to an encoder 16 steps installed on top is in charge to allow us navigating through the 16 MIDI channels.
