Handy control
The total control over the general audio is one of the most used elements while working in pre and post-production. MasterKontrol® permits the control of the levels of the surroundings, in addition to the tools that become basic at the time of working in our studio.
Controlling the wave
It is essential to give to our studio a control with great placement that has the largest possible symmetry in relation to the hotspot operator. In most cases the actions that are made with masterKontrol® require the highest possible fidelity regarding the stereo listening point, which is an issue that is solved by keeping the highest eccentricity of masterKontrol in relation to the speakers. masterKontrol allows the control of the master and the auxiliary of our system via the general control of the outs, general audio muting, the phase sum (which is very important to check, specially while working on the final mastering), an auxiliary send and, of course, the balance of our equipment between both speakers.
Safe connection
masterKontrol uses passive and resistive elements for signal processing to ensure uniformity of attenuation across all frequencies and the same levels equally, thus not colouring the signal. The connection is simple thanks to the XLR plug, which is connected in series with each of the two wires of each speaker stereo output. The computer is powered by USB which also connects with the masterKontrol Monitor software which allows viewing time of all processes.
Absolute precision
It is optional to install in parallel a calibrated measuring system. The DK® audio MSD550® model was used for this project. In addition to monitoring the outs with high precision it allows the user to generate calibration noise in order to quickly establish a room response graph thanks to other options that are also included in this model.
Digital Luthier warranty
Every single product from Digital Luthier® has been the result of a reasoned process since its initial conception until its final delivery, in order to provide a great quality tool. All of the parts and instruments that we manufacture have their own life and, with proper maintenance, they can last for many years.
