Designed from scratch
Our current project consists in building a recording and postproduction room in the customer’s home. We provide it with all the tools that the customer needs, making routine more simple and mechanic. It also grants confort, order and precision in every process. By these principles and along with our “Luthierians” developments we built the 2.0 version of our workbenches. The system allows the ultra-rapid connection and the patching of the equipment without practically leaving your seat. It incorporates the MIDI and OSC protocols, including the DLio® protocol, that allows the direct connection with our Digital Luthier® peripherals.
Total integration
The work stations that Digital Luthier® designs and develops have all of their elements integrated in one board that is completely mobile. Therefore, it is possible to change the position of the board in the room in an easy way, without the need of dragging wires or plugs, because that problem has already been solved via the installation of an additional mooring system. The board also has additional lightning with high power led lamps.
Processing power
For a work station of such a importance there has to be a motor sufficiently powerful to move its infrastructure. The computering DAW system is an Apple® with 8 cores and 16 Gb of RAM, awarded with an internal SSD card with a solid hard drive of 128 Gb that is directly connected to the board that runs the operating system and other apps. The storing is made through the use of 8 TeraByes of memory that stores in SATA slots. The electronic source system has been configured in star shape and the electronic source system has been implemented through a logical calculus of the charges. Nobody cannot be too careful, that is why the work station is gifted with its own electric panelboard that has Differential and Super Inmune Switches to avoid that the security device jumps out for something different than a derivation. The panelboard has several supply circuits, each of them protected from its corresponding Automatic Switch, in order that each of the circuits is independent and therefore, the rest of the equipments are not affected. The installation also counts with a Non-Stop Supply Source (NSS) that keeps providing energy to the ensemble of equipments in the case of an energetic baclkout, avoiding data loss.
Maximum connectivity
The wiring, connectors and components that integrate the work station have mostly been mounted by hand, achieving the requirements that Digital Luthier® put in the finishing touch in each of its creations and with the warranty of becoming an excellent product that will fulfill and excellent function. That is why the DAW has been designed with the possibility to quickly install any of its components, either because it needs to be replaced in that moment or just for the sake of using any of the equipments outisde the own work station.
Signal keyboard
We manufacture keyboards that are perfectly adapted to our work stations. As well as controlling all the DAW parameters it can be used as a conventional keyboard of 2 octaves. Along with the digiKontrol® system it makes the perfect choice to fully control our DAW without barely moving.
User control
DigiKey® is the key that grants us access to the configuration of the systems that Digital Luthier® manifactures. It also provides a start-up for the equipment that is adapted to every single user. It has a capacity of 32 GB that can store sets, configurations, audio and video. In this way, we can have in just one key several personalized configurations for the different users or multiple sets.
DLio protocol
It is a system that can pair up all the equipment of the Digital Luthier® brand, thanks to specific wiring. It also applies to the first prototype versions. Nowadays it is set up in all of the products that we manufacture, so as to make it possible to obtain the maximum functionality when we are working with different equipment simultaneously.
Digital Luthier warranty
Every single product from Digital Luthier® has been the result of a reasoned process since its initial conception until its final delivery, in order to provide a great quality tool. All of the parts and instruments that we manufacture have their own life and, with proper maintenance, they can last for many years.
