Digital Tailor® is Digital Luthier's® line of portable and custom made instruments for musicians and artists. Hiuman-OID® is a system developed for live performance that affords the artist the possibility to control the instruments with simple body gestures. One of the main characteristics of this system is that, besides being “handy”, it includes wireless tecnhology to transmit all the information. It is the perfect choice for any task or performance that requires movement inside a specific area, since it allows the control of both audio and video equipment.
Almost imperceptible
Hiuman-OID® is a system developed for live performance that affords the artist the possibility to control the instruments with simple body gestures. The system consists of an almost imperceptible little box that clips to the waist, and a series of sensors that are spread over areas of the body where you want to make the gesture. As the computer receives the information, it immediately transmits it by DLIO® protocol to any adjacent devices, at up to 20 metres radius with total and absolute reliability.
Connect to the set-up
The sensors have to be placed according to a series of factors, mainly the individual’s physiognomy. Another important factor is the placement and the physical route of an action. For example, with an arm, the movement of banging a drum will allow us to recreate this sound in any time and shape we wish. The general configuration plugin from Digital Luthier® also allows experimentation by making asymmetrical actions, that can be added to a chain and permits the creation of interesting sounds and images. The system consists of a little box that is attached to the waist and a series of sensors that are distributed along the parts of the body that will make the movement.

DLio protocol
It is a system that can pair up all the equipment of the Digital Luthier® brand, thanks to specific wiring. It also applies to the first prototype versions. Nowadays it is set up in all of the products that we manufacture, so as to make it possible to obtain the maximum functionality when we are working with different equipment simultaneously.
