100% analogic audio processor
LT3000® is the mixer model that the company WESTEC launched on the market in the middle of '87. It's a replica of the Solid State Logic SSL. It consisted of a modular mixer which was mounted on a support, something very common for this type of equipment during that analog period. In conclusion, we can have at our disposal (and in a small space) processing audio equipment with all the flavor from the 80s, which also has a set of digital remotes that give access to control software and hardware. For our productivity the parallel enruting compression that the LT3000 system offers is very interesting, with not just the filtering, but also the equalizing, expansion and general treatment. We can definitely reduce the space in our setup proccesing the audio with the sound of the 80s; what's more, it has a digital part that allows the control of software applications and hardware equipment.

Hybrid controller
Each of the modules is composed of several audio ins and outs, which adapt the high-gain power in both the mic and the main lines. The choice of in and out is made by the patch that Digital Luthier® installs in the digiStudio® v2.0 workstations. The rest of the buttons and remotes that depend on the control of other parts of the board have been “digitalized” to give new functions such as the control of software and hardware, since both plates use the well-known MIDI protocol via the DIN5 connectors placed in the digiPatch®. The final result is equipment that barely takes up any space, and serves as a hardware and software controller, and best of all, allows the use of the essence of an analogic classic for our productions.

Powerful supply
The energetic heart for this whole system has been developed by Digital Luthier® based on the original configuration guidelines for rack power systems, and reducing the size of all components to a single supply of the two modules. The end result is to give values practically negligible voltage ripple and a high energy supply especially when demand for power is produced at full capacity.

Westec Corporation
The production of the model LT3000® by the company Westec Studio Equipment GmbH® did not last long; very few units were built and their whereabouts are unknown. Artists like Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones or The King, among others sang their voices through the electronic circuitry of the Westec LT3000. LT3020 was the next model that the company introduced on the market, with important upgrades in terms of the functioning of the mixer ensemble in relation to its predecessor.
